WE ARE HOME
We have arrived home safe and sound after traveling 28,576kms over 5 months. I have posted some photos of where we travelled and I will post more from where we were. We had an amazing time, did not get into Guatemala due to insurance problems (unable to get vehicle insurance at the border).
Once we left Belize we went into the Chiapas of Mexico and up into the highlands, like 2.7km high. Different people there, still wear their original clothing (nothing from the store) and they speak a different language than Spanish.
We found the climate very nice, cool at night for sleeping and then up in the mid 20's during the day, not humid and no sweating (like that).
We went from there to the west coast and stopped for a week at Tenacatita, did some swimming, but Wolf did not get in any great boogie boarding. From there we went up to Lo de Marcos for only two nights to visit friends. Then it was 1735kms trip from Lo de Marcos to USA Lukeville border. Then we were at the Port Angeles ferry the night of the 4th day, not a bad trip, weather was good, roads were clear. Put in some long days but it was good to get home.
So that is it, now for next season!!!!!!
